Cosmetic grade is cold-pressed from raw, unroasted argan kernels to preserve maximum vitamin E and fatty acids, resulting in a light color and mild scent. Culinary grade is pressed from lightly toasted kernels, giving it a darker color and a rich, nutty, roasted flavor ideal for food applications.
