Shipping Policy
Everything you need to know about how we ship, what's included, and what to expect at customs.

1. Incoterms We Offer
We ship under internationally recognized Incoterms 2020. The applicable Incoterm will be agreed upon and stated on your Proforma Invoice before any payment is made.
EXW — Ex Works
Buyer arranges all freight and customs from our facility in Essaouira, Morocco. Best for buyers with their own freight forwarder.
FOB — Free On Board
We cover export customs and delivery to the Port of Casablanca or Port of Agadir. Buyer assumes risk once goods are on board the vessel.
CIF — Cost Insurance Freight
We handle everything to the destination port including freight and marine insurance. Popular with first-time importers to the USA, EU, and Australia.

3. Bulk Packaging & Preparation
All packaging is food-grade and nitrogen-flushed to preserve freshness. We offer:
- IBC Totes (1,000L) — Food-grade HDPE in steel cage frame
- Drums (200L / 25L) — Food-grade HDPE, UN-approved
- Jerry Cans (10L / 20L) — Aluminum or food-grade HDPE
- Retail Bottles (30mL–500mL) — Amber/clear glass or PET (for private label orders)
4. Export Documentation Provided
We prepare and provide a complete document pack with every shipment:
Itemised with HS codes and declared value
Batch numbers, weights, and package count
Original or express release
Issued by the Moroccan Chamber of Commerce
Issued by ONSSA, Morocco
Full lab report for the specific batch
Material Safety Data Sheet for customs and labs
For USDA Organic or Ecocert shipments
Pre-filed for all US food/cosmetic imports
5. US Customs — Importer Responsibilities
For shipments under FOB or CIF terms, the buyer is the Importer of Record (IOR) in the destination country and is responsible for:
- Customs broker fees and import duties (HS Code 1515.90 applies for argan oil)
- FDA Prior Notice acknowledgement (we pre-file this on your behalf)
- ISF (Importer Security Filing) filing for ocean shipments
- Any applicable state-level food safety permits
We work closely with your customs broker to ensure they receive all necessary documents within 24 hours of shipment. We do not provide US customs brokerage services, but we can refer trusted brokers experienced in argan oil imports.
6. Shipment Tracking
Once your shipment is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number or Bill of Lading reference via email within 24 hours. For air freight, real-time tracking is available via the carrier's website. For ocean freight, we provide vessel name, voyage number, and ETD/ETA at booking confirmation.
